Our team completed electrical installations on the static earthing of a fuel storage site in Sudbury.
We began work for Sudbury depot in November, to undertake electrical installations throughout there premise, in particular their static earthing systems. The work included the following tasks:
- Installation of 3x25mm PVC covered copper tape in ring around tank farm/bund walls around site
- Installation of 6 number earth electrode pits onsite with 5/6" copper rods and PVC inspection pits
- Installation of earthing connection point to existing fuel storage tanks
- Installation of ex-rated static earthing Newson Gale spiral leads
