S R Electrical Services Ltd is a family-run electrical contractor specialising in hazardous area (ATEX) installations and maintenance. We focus on safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for an experienced electrician who's happy to take the lead on site when needed.
Our projects are across the UK, so the role includes:
- Early starts at times
- Regular travel
- Working away from home

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation work (including hazardous areas where applicable).
- Install cable tray, conduit/trunking where required, and cable containment systems.
- Install XLPE, SWA and PVC cabling.
- Install and connect motors and control panels.
- Supervise site works when required.
- Work safely, follow RAMS and site rules, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Complete job paperwork and basic test / install records as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance (e.g. City & Guilds 2357 or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical installation/maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working on live sites and following safe systems of work
Desirable (but not essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Previous hazardous area / industrial experience
