Petrol Forecourt Works

Our team undertook electrical supply and installation work to a client in Northampton.

We were asked by Certas Energy UK Ltd and Trident Engineering Consultants Ltd to supply and install compliant Atex approved equipment and controls to comply with BS EN 6009-17 and in conjunction with regulations set out in the APEA Approved Petrol Forecourt ‘Blue Book’.

With provided TEC design and layout drawings we were able to design and build an ESD control panel and double pole RCD distribution board to supply proposed dispenser installations.

Our electrical services consisted of the following work:

• Supply and installation of ESD control panel and control wiring in the Hazardous Area.
• Supply and installation of cabling and termination of dispenser supplies and control wiring.
• Supply and installation of distribution board to supply dispensers and leak protection monitoring equipment.
• Supply and installation of power supplies and warning sounder beacons for underground pipework leak detection system.

We had work to a tight schedule but we compiled a schedule of works which also fit around dispenser deliveries which meant we were able to achieve completion of the project in the dedicated time frame.
