Our team completed electrical installations on the static earthing of a fuel storage site in Sudbury.
We began work for Sudbury depot in November, to undertake electrical installations throughout there premise, in particular a static earthing installation. The work included the following tasks:
- Installation of 3x25mm PVC covered copper tape in ring around tank farm/bund walls around site
- Installation of 6 number earth electrode pits onsite with 5/6" copper rods and PVC inspection pits
- Installation of earthing connection point to existing fuel storage tanks
- Installation of ex-rated static earthing Newson Gale spiral leads
